This place has everything. Good food great drinks and a even better atmosphere. They have 5 volleyball courts and usually have league nights or some sort of tornament. All the food I've ever had was pretty good and all of the burgers are AWESOME!!! I noticed a guy said he got charged $6.50 for a rum and coke but he must of had a double which would have been only $6 since there well drinks are only 3 dollars a pop (pretty good price) ...this guy must of had expensive taste and ordered top shelf rum and mixed it with coke (rookie) and ended up being disappointed at the price lol who listens to the guy who mixes top shelf with a mixer like coke anyways lol (ROOKIE ALL DAY LONG) ...the guy also said the pool tables weren't up to his standard even though they're FREE!!!! MAN I LOVE THIS PLACE. Take my word for it ....check this place out!!

Tropics is located on the bayway. Pretty cool setup being right by the bay. It wqs a laid back atmosphere a few locals. We went on a Saturday wanting to have a place to drink and shoot a game of pool. So we go in and order a rum and coke for $6.50 @ pop, stiff. We were there about 2 hours before last call which came at 12:45 on a Saturday, lame. The pool table had a big scratch in it and the patron who asked to play a game with us was a Texan visiting for the weekend. He turned out to be pretty douchy, go figure. Not really sure why I gave this place 2 stars, maybe the location?? Anyways I wont be going back

Starting the first Saturday in May - - Free CRAWFISH!!!! Starts around 4 - they cook in the front parking lot. Excellent flavor. Great live music. Adult beverage purchase required. This is my #1 thing to do on Saturdays with a great sunset and cool breeze.

First time visiting, will definitely go again. Food was great, service was good, laid back atmosphere, reasonably priced.

Feels like home here. Everyone who works here is always so welcoming. Beers are always cold. Ordered the chicken finger appetizer and couldn't believe how amazing they are. Inknow, they are just chicken fingers, but fresh, made to order, not frozen. Juicy and hot, food portion size too.

I came in here last week because it was on my way home. I had chicken wings and a couple of beers for dinner. The food was OK, it had a good atmosphere, and the restaurant was very clean. The problem was that the bartender seemed disinterested in her job. She was an attractive lady in her late 30's/early 40's, and very tan. She was talking on her cell phone while behind the bar. I asked for something, and she turned around and I could see she was in the middle of a conversation. I understand that servers/bartenders use their phones for texting when they're not busy, but don't make me feel like I'm imposing on you by asking for service. I probably won't be back.

We just left this place. We stop here on our way to Orlando where my kids will be playing the Little League World Series. First let me start by saying that the we should have left the first time the waiter came to take our orders and we didn't even have any menus. I had a question about one of their alcoholic drinks and she responded by saying that it was whatever the description said. We told her that we were ready to order and every time I tried to said, ask for something she interrupted me. My best friend and I asked for two drinks which says in the description "just two drinks allowed per person". We thought that maybe they were a little too strong and that's maybe the restriction.... WRONG!!! Is just plain DECEIVING! The drinks were juice, color and soda which by the way the kids soda were just water and sugar. When we told the waiter about the drinks being just juice and water. She acknowledged by saying.. "Yes I know, these are the kind of drinks that you just ordered it to try it and you don't order a second time" we really couldn't believe that she was saying this straight to our faces. We asked if they could fixed the alcoholic drinks and just bring water instead of the stale sodas. She said that she had to talked to the manager and called him over and he just looked at us and sat down at the bar with who we think was a client so she went to him. When she came back she stated that she will bring the water and take the soda off the bill DUH!!! REALLY?!? Oh but the best part was when she said that if wanted the other drinks fixed we were gonna have to pay for any "extra" shots which we agreed. No problem we said we are on "vacation, tired and just want to have a good meal and go to our hotel room so we can try to have a good night sleep because we have to get up early to be on our way the next day.... EXTRA?!?! Are you fr... Kidding me?!?! That was soda and juice? Now the food... We ordered fried and blackened catfish, blackened fish and two other dishes. Nothing tasted fresh, the fried dishes tasted like very old and stale oil, the blackened dishes were way over seasoned and salty. What really made us get up, asked for the manager and the check was when the kids pointed out that the waters never arrived. And the cherry on top... When we were talking to the manager we realized that he was just acting to be listening to us because he never made eye contact and kept looking over us to the bar. This is dump, food, drinks, service don't even deserve one star. The other great reviews are either employees or friends of the manager or something because I really don't have not one good thing to say about this place. And I really hope that YELP don't hide this review because It will lose any little credibility that I have left.

We go here for the volleyball and great atmosphere. It can be hit or miss with the wait staff, but the food is good. The place would be one of the best on the causeway if they concentrated on cleaning things up and improving the customer service. We will continue to go because of the nice volleyball courts!

Food was yummy. I had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and someone else in our group had the Big A** Burger (which I happened to get a picture of). My burger was filling and because I had a late lunch I hate a very late dinner. The bun was a soft and a little sweet, might have been baked at the restaurant or bought form a bakery. I want to try the huge burger next time. Their signature dish has three 1/2 lb patties, four slices of bacon and I forget what else. If you order it, come hungry. We had a geocaching event here yesterday we made the mistake of not warning them we were coming and I think we overwhelmed the kitchen. The folks who ordered the seafood dishes were the last to get their food and some people had already eaten their meal by that time. I will go back when I'm in this area again. This is a big place with at least two pool tables and a bar, since I was at an event and we seemed to be the only patrons I didn't explore. The bathrooms were lovely, clean and more upscale than I was expecting. If the weather is nice take the time to eat on their outside deck. It's located right on the water, just over a small bridge. Make sure you have gas before you get to the causeway. I had to back track before getting to the restaurant and had a frustrating time finding a gas station and getting back to meet friends.
